Coach Nareg is currently the Head Coach of the AGBU Canoga Park Varsity Boys Basketball Team. In his 6 years at AGBU, he has achieved 100+ career wins, the team has made 2 trips to the CIF-SS Semifinals, 2 CIF State Playoff qualifications, 3 League Championships, multiple 20+ win seasons, and jumped from CIF-SS Division 5 to Division 2 based on program success. Coach Nareg is also currently the assistant coach for the FIBA Armenia Mens National Team, as the team is going through preliminary rounds to qualify for the Olympics. Coach Nareg, a 1000+ career point scorer in High School, also played College Basketball, a brief stint professionally, and a season in a semi-professional league in the midwest. He started Rebels in 2016 with the hopes of not only developing athletes, but also giving the tools, guidance, and mentorship to help them achieve their future goals.
